​We pride ourselves in providing stimulating activities for all interests and ability-levels. The spontaneous laughter and positive conversations combined with the talents of our staff create the core of what makes Golden Horizons such a successful program. Our specialized recreational staff plan and lead enjoyable and thought-provoking activities throughout the day that are designed around our participants' individual interests and abilities. We encourage socialization and design activities to increase memory and problem solving. We assist clients in trying new activities along with some of their old favorites. Examples of activities that we typically offer include arts and crafts, exercise and fitness, mind stretchers and fun games, enjoyable music, special guest performers, movies, gardening, educational classes, computer classes, and access to computers throughout the day.
