FAQ

We have been in business for over 14 years.

Many agencies that you may come across have not been in business very long. We have been providing care for over 14 years and have seen the changes that have occurred in this industry. We have learned what families really want as well as what works best for both the families and the caregivers. We have handled all types of living situations and family dynamics and feel that we are able to assist in this new phase of life. Our experience can help you to make this transition easier. Our caregivers know what we expect of them. We work to make every situation run smoothly, as though it was a member of the family caring for your loved one. Caring is KEY.

We provide hourly care, live-in care, 24 hour care, hospice care and respite care.

An aide, in additon to caregiving can do light house cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, medication reminding, help a person wash and dress, provide companionship and safety, run errands, grocery shop, go for walks and/or help organize the home.

We provide hourly care in Middlesex, Union and Somerset counties. Live-in care is available just about anywhere in New Jersey. The care can be in the home, apartments, retirement communities, assisted living communities, nursing homes or hospitals.

Since we have been in business for over 14 years, we have many aides available to us, but we also have caregivers referred to us by our current caregivers. All caregivers are interviewed and their references are checked as well as backgrounds checked. We make sure that they have experience and that they speak English clearly so that our clients can understand them.

We do our best to fill a case on short notice. Many times a family is told that a discharge is happening tomorrow and we can help.

You can change or stop services whenever you would like. You do not sign a contract that binds you to any specific amount of time. Many times client's needs change which then require a change to their schedule. This is not a problem.

We have a contract that is signed to reflect the work that is expected to be done by the caregiver. This does not bind you to any particular schedule or term of services.

Most Major Medical Insurances do not cover home care services. We do not accept Medicare, but keep in mind that Medicare rarely provides enough hours for a client's needs. We do accept Long-term Care Insurance.

Our minimum amount of hours in a day is 4 consecutive hours, with no specific amount of days per week. However, if there is need for less than 4 hours in a day, there is a flat rate that can be paid for 1-3 hours of service, even as a one time only event.

Yes. We can certainly provide care to an individual who is recuperating from a recent injury or illness, no matter what the age.

Just let us know. If it is something that we can fix by speaking with the aide and you agree to this, then we will discuss it and rectify the problem. If you are just unhappy with the aide and want to switch, that is always possible. We want the right fit for everyone.

We believe that our prices are very competitive and actually on the lower end of the scale. We work to keep the services affordable for the community. We do not charge higher rates for nights or weekends and have only a few majoy Holidays where the rate is increased.
